1. Advertising permit on every link
A Dubai listing cannot be created without a Trakheesi permit number of 10 to 12 digits. In the other emirates, the permit number is optional in Homelinker and shown on the link when the agency enters it. The number is displayed on every private link and in the landlord pack. The agency is responsible for obtaining the permit, for its accuracy and for keeping it valid while the link is live.
2. Agency and broker registration
Every private link shows the agency name with its registration number (the RERA Office Registration Number in Dubai) and the name of the agent who created the listing with their Broker Registration Number when they have one. Members without a BRN can be invited to the agency account; the agency remains responsible for ensuring that every listing it advertises complies with the rules of its emirate, and the link then shows the agency number without a BRN.
3. No public portal
Homelinker does not publish listings. A listing exists only behind its private link, which the agent shares with the candidates of their choice on WhatsApp. Links are not indexed by search engines and are not listed anywhere on this website.
4. Accurate information
The link shows the annual rent, the cheques accepted, the deposit, the size, the bedrooms, the availability date and the community and building exactly as entered by the agency. The agency commits to keep them accurate and to close the link when the unit is leased. Retaining a candidate closes the listing and informs the other candidates that the unit is taken.
5. How to report a listing
If you believe a link shows an invalid permit, an incorrect price or a unit that is no longer available, write to contact@homelinker.ae with the link code (for example HLD-7K2P). We contact the agency within one working day and suspend the link if the information is not corrected. Complaints about a broker can also be addressed to the Dubai Land Department or to the competent authority of the emirate, through their official channels.
