Is it free?
Yes. Homelinker is free for tenants, always.
Do I need to install an app?
No. Everything works in the browser of your phone, from the link the agent sends on WhatsApp.
Who sees my documents?
Only the agency of the listing you applied to, with your consent. Documents asked before the viewing are visible as soon as you send them; the rest after the viewing. The documents carry the agency name and the date as a watermark.
Can I apply for several flats?
Yes. Your profile and documents are reused on every new link. Each agency sees only the application you sent to it.
Why do I write a presentation of myself?
The landlord reads it in the pack: who you are, who will live there, why this unit and when you can sign. A few sentences are enough. It replaces the questions the agent would ask message by message.
I have just arrived and have no Emirates ID yet. Can I apply?
Yes. A passport, an entry permit or visa being processed and an employment contract make a complete file.
I am renting an office for my company. What changes?
The lease is in the company's name. The link asks for the trade licence, the memorandum of association, the company bank statement and your passport and Emirates ID as signatory. The agency may ask for the trade licence before the viewing.
How do I delete my data?
From your profile page you can withdraw an application or delete your account and documents. The deletion is confirmed and recorded.
